Therapy is not separate from play. It lives within every smile, every story and every discovery.
At The Nurture Nest therapy and education work hand in hand. Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy principles are embedded in every child’s day at no extra cost. On top of that, we offer access to a range of specialist therapies, delivered by qualified professionals and integrated into each child’s daily learning plan to ensure consistency and balance.
Specialist therapies available (additional cost)
Speech and Language Therapy
Assessment and 1:1 or small-group sessions for speech sounds, understanding, expressive language and social communication.
Sensory Integration Occupational Therapy
Helping children process touch, movement, sound and light so they can regulate, focus and join in.
Play Therapy
Using play to work through emotions, anxiety and change in a safe relationship.
Art Therapy
Expression and regulation through making, for children who find words hard.
Music Therapy
Rhythm, song and instruments to build communication, attention and connection.
Animal Therapy
Calm, motivating interactions with animals that support confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Are therapies included in the fees?
Embedded Speech and Language and OT strategies are included for every child. Specialist 1:1 therapies with a qualified therapist are charged separately; ask us for current rates.
Can my NHS therapist work with you?
Yes, and we would love them to. We share plans, targets and observations so home, nursery and therapy all pull in the same direction.
Do you have a sensory room?
Yes, a purpose-built room with bubble tube, fibre-optic curtain, colour-changing light column, switch panel, egg chair and a cosy den, used for regulation throughout the day.
