What we collect and why

• Enquiries: your name, phone, email and message, so we can reply. Enquiries sent by WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
• Registration: child and parent details, health, dietary and developmental information, funding codes and emergency contacts, to provide childcare safely and meet our legal duties under the EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted requirements.
• Learning records: observations, assessments, photographs and progress notes held in the EYParent app, shared only with the child’s parents and, with consent, the professionals involved in their care.
• Safeguarding: information we are legally required to keep and share with the local authority where a child may be at risk.
• Website: this site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics scripts. Anonymous page counts may be collected by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold, correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to keep it. Children’s records are retained in line with Ofsted and statutory guidance, typically until the child is 25 for safeguarding records and for three years after leaving for general records. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

Photographs of children are only published with written parental consent. Images on this website are softened to protect children’s identity.
